My name is Mary Cummins and I am your Irish Freedom Party candidate in Galway
City Centre. I am Galway born and bred, and love my beautiful city and county. I am
proud of our heritage.
I currently work in administration in a very busy department at University Hospital
Galway.
I have worked in UK and later in United Arab Emirates. I greatly admired the very
high border security levels in the UAE, where they run a tight ship.
The current failures in Irish immigration policy, which are leading to large scale
abuse of the goodwill of the Irish people motivated me to run for the local elections
in Galway City Council.
Irish people need a voice. The people of Galway need a voice. I will listen to the
people of our city.
If elected, I shall:
• Assist Galway families with access to housing in Galway
• Campaign for a return of local authority homes built by the local
council
• Campaign to keep Galway’s refugee/asylum centres to a
minimum.
• Request extra Garda present on Galway streets to ensure
vulnerable Galwegians, especially women and children feel safe
walking our streets.
• Promote Parental Rights in local schools and libraries and protect
children from unsafe and unscientific ideology.
• Encourage tourism in the city and the region by making the city
safe and attractive for both visitors and locals.
• Support our local aquaculture industry and to promote our local
fishermen.
• Support families and business through a reduction in business
rates and property taxes.
